You are correct. Season 2 may end up a flop in regard to viewership (but so far on par with season 1 time for time). I thought they would have a major fight a few shows ago when they ended up trading the mortar. But negotiation worked out. On a different topic In a few weeks I plan on starting what I’m going to call “*LIVE* KNAVE RATS” with a focus on wild magic. Are you ready? It will all be done on the fly like Maze Rats. 👍

@@BondingWithBoardGamesRPGs Sure, it's not raking in the views. But I still like the characters and the story, want to see where it goes. As I have mentioned in the past, if you want something to happen, you can always change the odds of something. Only Rule that matters is the rule of cool. It's not like you are fudging the dice. For example, the negotiation part, you could've had lesser odds of them accepting the offer. You could have had one of the guys from that same group looking for revenge despite whatever agreement the leaders might have come to. You could have conflict emerge from within PEMGEM as well, especially given what Krieg has shown about himself.

Great points on the odds adjustment. I agree. I thought they would have more action too. My home group says I sometimes put them in too many “combat only” situations. I admit I like combat, so I’m not trying to dodge it. I’ll keep an eye on the odds adjustment.

Nice to see your idiot main character caught a catastrophic brain infection after operating in his bathtub. I look forward to seeing him battle imaginary transdimentional monsters and hallucinate Men in Black paranoia. I fear your game is a little more realistic then Musk's electric dreams.

@BondingWithBoardGamesRPGs His carbon footprint is still overall hundreds of times greater than what the average person’s C02 footprint would be annually and Musk would do some 39 min flight on a private jet which would pump out vastly more C02 than anyone would do annually just to troll some kid tracking his private jet. To add to this, Elon Musk does not care about his Tesla rocket sending debris to Boca Chica which is a home to many vulnerable endangered species. He endorses and embraces Cryptocurrency (Dogecoin) scheming which is not environmentally friendly at all and goes against what he is trying to accomplish. Guys a government funded scammer but I understand he has a fundamental cult following who will defend his failures until the end. Next you'll day he invented electric cars and founded Tesla.

To each their own. I’m not trying to convince you, I don’t think I could. My point is less about Musk and more about the learning and innovating process. Failure is a good sign. It usually or can mean your trying new things and its the only true way things get better. Think about something you achieved and then think about the failures you learned from along the way. With those prompts I would need to know some more logic of the situation. Bloody/heart could be an actual wound or a love lost for example.

@BondingWithBoardGamesRPGs yeah, I haven't perfected it's use. Basically I have pregenerated 5 NPCs, 5 Locations, 5 Clues, 3 plot twists (all from back of core rulebook) and a final confrontation, again from back of core rulebook. Then using fate chart with likely, 50/50 & unlikely, I draw a card and go from there. I have kinda replaced the scene page from Mythic with this. The card draw is random, so it can throw me a curve, kinda like Hack's spinner in E1. The part I haven't worked through is once I go/see/get a clue, working that knowledge into the elimination of suspects. Instead of eliminating I am trying to build up the story. Of course with the final 3 cards being the answer to the case file.

Oh, that’s very cool. The logic will send you down some roads too. Those might be clarified with some yes/no questions.

And thank you Sir. It’s a great mechanism to move the story along in ways that feel very organic. Sometimes the ideas just pop right in and things fall in line like a tech tree. I also try to keep Trey Parker and Matt Stones philosophy of story telling (but, therefore) instead of “and then, and then” in mind. RPG’s have started edging out my board game playing. What’s your favorite. I have a good collection too.

I don’t own any RPGs but there is one that I have my eyes on, Firefly. Love the tv serie, almost pledged the GF9 campaign last year. But my reality is that I would need a solo assistant, unless we can get together and roll some dice, so, that emulator is looking interesting for achieving that goal. It looks the version you are using is the first one ? There is a second edition available I think..? You know, with my autistic condition, everyday life is a challenge. But there are a few things that helps me get grounded, drawing and board games are two of them. My moto is : mind is the limit. The universe is vast but sometimes, I feel it can fit in my brain. I can’t feed it enough. It seems an impossibility but that’s the best explanation I can say. And am grateful that you have a place and a part in bringing “balance” in my normality.

She’s very cool. She was over yesterday (Saturday) we missed gaming last week. I had forgotten where we left off. She pulled out her book and had all the details. PERFECT. Then we had a great session exploring a Flee Market. It was so much fun. She mentioned she may want to come on the show and narrate where we bring viewers up to where we are and then maybe turn the camera on us as we have game sessions. Sounds great to me. I just don’t want to kill our mojo by filming it. I told her if it puts too much stress on her or the ability to game we don’t need to do it.

Mythic Compendium (forgetting which book) has the tracking sheet. It helped me early on. But the cool thing is once the mystery started to unfold it started to make since and the mystery chart wasn’t the driving force it was the story as I uncovered it. The basic mythic questions I started to ask handled a lot of, or most of my mystery questions. As you watch you might see how the story starts to almost run away from me. At least it felt that way to me. It was like a movie. I’ve got a Live Session with my mom and Tales From the Loop and mythic is handling that well too. No videos of game play on that one but I did an interview with mom. Might be a fun watch.

@BondingWithBoardGamesRPGs I watched the interview with your Mom. Tales from the Loop may be my next new game. But first I need to search for people doing it via Mythic or something else to play solo.

I’m going to film a “Mythic Emulator” video soon. But check out ‘Me Myself & Die’ on RUclips. Trever is a voice actor and has like an 8 camera set up. Fun to watch. But he uses the Mythic system in early videos.

Oh I’m sure friends and family of the dead would be mad. The way the leader responded and his intelligence I believe he would have an iron grip on his men and they would follow his orders. Using a blend of mythic questions and Twilight 2k rules as I film. Trying to keep it cinematic.

My wife and I love the ship and crew. We rewatch it a few years and always end up mad at Fox. I never even heard of it until there was a marathon years later on the SciFi Channel.
